Kit’s paintings integrate the quiet and meditative qualities of Eastern art with the colorful brilliance and subject matter of Western art. Each canvas crescendos into a harmonious and lively whole, like the score of a graceful, rhythmic piece of music. She immigrated to Canada in 1997 and is now an Associate Signature Status member of the Federation of Canadian Artists (AFCA).  Kit is represented by fine art galleries in Alberta and British Columbia and her works can be found in private and public collections in North and South America, and in the Orient.

Artist Statement

“The hours when the mind is absorbed by beauty are the only hours when we are truly alive. So I paint the joy of living, which at the same time brings happiness, peace and delight to those who view my work.”

“From the countries that I have traveled, I draw inspiration and subject matter from objective facts and real scenery, forming an artistic response to this outside stimulation to create images, which are both lyrical and contextual.”
