The purest purpose of all living creatures is defined within their unique fundamental inheritance – forms, structures and textures.
The explorations of plants and aquatic creatures through different techniques of intaglio printmaking provide the opportunity for the audience to closely re-consider the elemental and unique features embedded in each living being, either the almost invisible jellyfish, or the self-protective chili.
It is via the close observations of the individual’s quintessential characteristics that drive us to sense the vigorous energy that even the most static being would exert.
