Character Details:

Goshirakawa-in (77th Emperor) 1126-1192 AD

Goshirakawa had many faces.  He was an unequalled strategist and a scheming villain; he was also viewed as not having any talent for being an Emperor but having a great flare for partying.  A clever manipulator, he used the Heike to rid the enemy of the Court, and later used the Genji to beat the Heike.  He even tried to use the third powerful group, the Buddhist monks to eliminate a young new leader of the Genji clan known as Yoritomo.
