Lord Yoritomo (The Leader of all the Genji Clan) 1147-1198 AD
The young leader of the Genji Clan was a descendant of the 56th Emperor. At the age of 14, he joined his father to aid in the rebellion led by Sutoku-in and was banished to an island. He was said to have been very handsome. After the Heike were destroyed, Yoritomo came into power. He needed absolute control and to make sure no one got in his way, eliminated his half-brother, his cousin, his second cousin, and his uncle amongst many others. Yoritomo established the very first feudal government in Japanese history. He died suddenly at the age of 51.
