Art Beatus Gallery, established in Hong Kong in 1992,
promotes contemporary art with a focus on artists of Chinese
origin. Its
Vancouver gallery opened in 1996 to serve as a launching pad for
Chinese
artists in North America. Another exhibition space was set up in
April
2004 to
provide exposure for young artists in the Hong Kong art scene.
