Opening ceremony -  April 1, 2005, 6pm to 8pm:
Artists will attend the opening ceremony

Jolans Fung chooses to use his works to tell us that the real capacity of photographs can go beyond the margins.

In his solo exhibition at the Art Beatus Exchange Square space, Fung uses his photo works to encapsulate "sounds" so that we can "see", and to capture "images" so that we can "touch".

Senses runs from April 1 to 20, 2005.

Fung, a graduate from the Ecole Nationale Suprerieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, France, received the Board of Examiners majority commendation on his graduation in 1990.  In year 2000, he was selected to be the artist in residence in Bundanon Centre, Australia and last year he was awarded the Asian Artist Fellowship of Vermont Studio Centre in the United States.

He likes to explore feelings and emotions through his lenses. "By using images to induce imaginations, we, human beings, can once again re-discover our innate senses of touch," Fung said of his works.
