2006 FIFA World Cup Art Posters

An Exhibition of Official Posters for the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany

October 3 - October 10, 2005

The Luo Brothers, three young Chinese artists from Beijing, have succeeded in placing China's name back into the 2006 FIFA World Cup arena, being one of 14 international finalists whose works were selected to make up the official art posters for the world soccer events in Germany next year.

When the Chinese national football team lost to Japan, China lost its chance to play in the World Cup games, but the Luo Brothers helped China to make it to the final in the World Cup official art poster designing selection.

They and 13 artists from other countries such as Germany, Great Britain, Japan, Ghana, Nigeria, Brazil, the United States and Australia are finalists for the 2006 FIFA World Cup official event. Original works from these artists' designs will be put on display in the German Parliament House, Bundestag, in Berlin during the opening of the football games next year.

Art Beatus Gallery, being the representing gallery for the Luo Brothers, will exhibit the full set of the 2006 FIFA World Cup art posters in its Exchange Square space from October 3 to 10, 2005.

A limited number of art posters from the artists as well as signed copies of the limited edition series will also be made available for sale in the gallery.
